Established in1954 The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CAFFC) is a semi-official body within China's Foreign Policy Unit that cooperates with over 115 countries worldwide. The association is mainly involved in the core activity of promoting China 's manifold political, economic, academic, cultural and technological relations to foreign countries. Within the cooperation between the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Hanns Seidel Foundation special emphasis is placed on the policy dialogue on socio-political, economic, legal and cultural topics, and the promotion of gifted and talented students from less developed areas in Western China. Activities are implemented as follows: Specialized seminars with parliamentarians in China and Germany Information exchange between high-ranking politicians Scholarship program in China Regional development dialogue program |
