Since January 2002 the over 20 years-lasting education policy engagement of HSF in China stepped up into a new cooperation phase. Based on the human and tangible resources of Hanns Seidel Foundation's experienced project centers the education transfer to less developed areas has been enforced.

In line with the regional project the socio – political activities of Hanns Seidel Foundation with old and new partners have been enhanced. The activities of the Coordination and Information Center of Hanns Seidel Foundation in Beijing have thus increased (see diagram ).
